Annual General Meeting and Fun Afternoon
Our 2017 AGM and Fun Afternoon is planned for Sunday June 11 at the Scout Hut, from 2.30pm until 5pm.  Please put it in the diary and plan to join us – as previously, we will keep the AGM itself very brief.  This year the Group celebrates its 70th anniversary, please come and help us celebrate!

Waitrose Bag Packing 2016

Waitrose Bag Packing 2016 raised £770 for the group through the generosity of local shoppers!

Scout Post 2016

It has been another successful year for the Scout Post. Yet again we attracted a large “customer base” and delivered more than 3,500 cards; amazingly, another increase on last year. This is a fantastic achievement and just shows how, with your help, we provide a great service. Good news too for the groups involved, as just over £1000 was raised – a great boost to all our funds. Children in Need 2016

 
On 8th and 9th October, 2016, 2nd Wallingford cubs did a sponsored walk and camp for Children in Need.
With all donations collected, and a small surplus from the camp costs added, we are incredibly pleased to announce that the total amount of money that the Cubs raised for Children In Need is £1442.57! This is an amazing achievement by the Cubs, and they should be extremely proud of themselves.

PokéGuys victorious!

2nd Wallingford Cubs won the first prize for the ‘Group Entry’ guy competition at the Wallingford Fireworks on Saturday 5th November 2016. Our Pokémon Guys looked great at the foot of the bonfire and they won £100! Congratulations Cubs!

Band concert refreshments raise £220

Very many thanks to all of our helpers on Sunday 16th July at the Silver Band Concert.
We raised £220.63!

Annual General Meeting 2016

Notice of Annual General Meeting – 2nd Wallingford Scout Group
We’re holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the Scout Hut on Sunday 22nd May at 3.30pm.
We’ll be combining the AGM with a Group Social and afternoon of fun for our young people and their parents/guardians. Refreshments will be provided.
As before, we‘ll keep the formal part of the afternoon as brief as possible.
