Wallingford Local Producers’ Market held their AGM on Saturday 2nd November and 2nd Wallingford Scouts got a mention:

“As ever, we could not manage without the Scouts who cheerfully turn out, week in, week out, to help put out the signs, bring the veg stall tables and put the chairs away after the market as well as managing the outdoor markets.” (Chair’s report)

“I would like to reiterate here our indebtedness to the Scouts for all their help, particularly for outdoor markets. I am currently in discussion with Fugro and Mark Brett to store gazebos and tables in a container in the Fugro yard, which would improve accessibility; no more stairs and 24 hour access.” (Market Coordinator’s report)
