On a rather wet and windy Sunday 15th November, 2nd Wallingford Cubs did a sponsored hike from Nuffield Place to the Scout Hut to raise money for Children in Need. This year’s Children in Need theme is Heroes, so cubs, leaders and parents dressed as their favourite hero. They walked through Nuffield, along the Ridgeway, through Mongewell, back along the river and through Wallingford to the hut for tea and cakes.

Between them, they raised an amazing £802.32!

This means that, during 3 events in the last 2 years, 2^nd Wallingford Cubs have raised approximately £1800 for charity.
